My name is Madeline Smith, but my friends call me Maddie.

I’ve been living in Melbourne for ten years. I have a BA in Fine Arts: Production Design, Design Realisation from the VCA.

I have been working in Floristry for five years now and have a deep love for nature and the environment.

I am a textile and mixed media artist, who loves dressing up and exploring the incredible and ancient art of handcraft.

My work explores my love of nature and fantasy through design, shape and colour. My excitement for many disciplines pushes me to multiple formats, however themes of anthropology, form, nature and magic remain always at the heart of my practice.
